Which treatment? not late!: If you used Permethrin topical 5% cream for Scabies: Apply cream from head to toe; leave on for 8-14 hours before washing off with water. May reapply in week in live mites appear. This is for typical scabies. Now for crusted scabies: You need to apply the 5% cream daily for 7 days, then 2x per week until cured (use with oral Ivermectin. It is all in the details. Call the Doctor who prescribed your medicine for best advice.
