Sweating's caused by: ...your body's attempt to cool you down. When you became overheated,, you start to sweat. When the sweat evaporated after you removed blankets, your body cooled down. If it cooled down too quickly, it compensated by shivering. Hormones, chronic illness & some medications can affect your body's ability to regulate its temperature. If this is bothersome or persistent, see your doctor.
