Your description suggests possible complex partial seizure activity, with apparent generalization. Yes, some of this could instead be panic attacks instead of nocturnal epilepsy. See a neurologist, and get diagnostic confirmation. IN THE MEANTIME DO NOT: drive, do activities at heights, use power equipment, swim or bathe alone.
