Discuss with MD: See your doctor and make sure you don't have arthritis/disk disease in your neck causing compression to your nerve roots giving sensation of paralysis, you can get a temporary neuropraxia from sleeping on your arms, or other body parts in a manner that compresses nerves. Electrolytes and neurological work up may be needed.
