I'm not sure..: ...what you mean by blood clot? Perhaps you are seeing red/blood in the sclera/white part of your eye? Most conjunctivitis is viral, and will often clear without antibiotics. But with a recurrence, seemingly more severe with thicker discharge you need to see your ophthalmologist or primary provider. A physical exam and evaluation of your eyes is needed. Good wishes:)
