See an ENT: You need to rule out ear problems And if not your ear then there is a very good chance it is TMJ problem which can be aggravated by grinding your teeth TMJ is your jaw joint which can cause ringing facial pain head pain neck pain and pain when opening your mouth A periodontist treats TMJ problems

Ear ache: Chronic teeth grinding (bruxism) can cause TMJ dysfunction. This can cause pain in and around the ear, and noise when you chew and open and close. Check with your dentist or a TMJ specialist. Also see an ENT specialist to rule out an ear infection.
