Possible dry socket: One of the most common complication after an extrated tooth is called dry socket or alveolitis. The blood cloth does not form well or is dislodged leaving the socket exposed to oral bacteria. Sometimes remaining bone or tooth particles can disrupt the healing process. Have your doctor examine you for proper diagnosis and treatment.
