Depends what your Dr: says, most notably your eye doctor, and how much your previous job depended on your vision. If you need a seeing eye dog, and cane then this may significantly affect you. Start there, as there's a lot of paperwork involved. It can take months. Plus, SSI and SS benefits in general are changing. You need to use low vision aids and learn Braille to help you navigate through this. Best of luck!
