If i have anxiety due to prednisone would i be diagnosed as anxiety?

No: I would consider this anxiety secondary to or caused by a medication. Prednisone can cause anxiety as a side effect. Drug-induced anxiety does not meet criteria for having an anxiety disorder. Anxiety should disappear soon after stopping this med. Hope this helps.
