Steroid and anxiety : Steroids, like Prednisone, can cause anxiety almost regardless of dose. This would be an expected side effect.

Explanation : Unlikely. 30mg is actually mild or very moderate dose for adult person. Possibly your medical condition that required steroids cause these symptoms. Or other medications.
