Diagnosis& treatment: It would take another 10 years of education to know as much as your Dentist. "Splitting & aching" are symptoms, not diagnosis. Please let your Dentist examine you to determine the cause of your pain, then he/she can discuss appropriate treatment choices with you and your parent/guardian.
