In the modern world,: Ink comes in many colors. There's yellow ink, blue ink, red ink, black ink, etc... Stools that have mucus, red blood, or dark (blackish) blood can mean a serious problem, so would make a patient go to her doctor sooner. A few watery stools with no blood-like colors may be a typical case of stomach flu or food contamination, but a doctor may check if more than 2-3 days, or other worrisome symptoms.
