A member asked:

My ferritin level is 95.2, hgb 11.7 and hct 36.8. are any of these levels indicative of anemia?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Definition: The World Health Organization cites Hgb less than 12.5 for an adult woman as anemia. You need to be evaluated though this is unlikely to be symptomatic at this time. There are many causes of anemia other than iron deficiency.
