Can you be iron deficient with normal mch & mcv levels? hgb 10.1 hct 32.6 mchc 31 my dr wants to treat me with iron iv for anemia. but mcv/mch is normal. iron% 11 ferritin 79 tibc 319. am i iron deficient or could this be another type of anemia?

The blood test results you described are not those of typical iron deficient anemia. More lab works are needed to make a definite diagnosis.
