A member asked:

I had a small raised pink bump that has changed into a mole. is this normal? it's small, one color, symmetrical, has clear borders and isn't changing.

Have this biopsied: The lesion I would argue has changed but has remained stable as it was initially a small pink bump that clearly became a mole. One approach would be monitoring the lesion closely but in order to obtain a definitive diagnosis a biopsy with a punch or shave or even excisional if you would like it removed regardless is indicated.
