Time: Time to back off the activities that are causing pain. See an orthopedic / sports med doc for evaluation. You may need a period of immobilization in a boot to let things settle down.

Time off : You need to rest and allow the inflammation of the muscle attachments to your shin bones to heal. Once this happens you can modify your activity and slowly return back to full activity. Shoe modification with custom orthotics really help as well. A podiatrist or orhtopod can help you as well if the pain continues without improvement.

Listen to your body: Pain is telling you something is wrong. You may have an injury. Please get checked by your doctor.
