My hemoglobin was 7.5 before surgery & my iron less than 10 i went into kidney failure could this have caused it?

Not likely: What kind of surgery did you have? If it was elective surgery, your doctor would have corrected your hemoglobin by iron administration. In an emergency surgery, they could have given you blood transfusion.
