Not sure what u mean: Advanced directives r meant 2 guide end-of-life care & the extent of heroic resuscitative measures. TPN's a way to b fed thru an IV. If u don't want that, u can specify so in the advanced directive. If u don't want a feeding tube, u can specify that also. There's no harm in including ur meal preferences in ur advanced directive- they shd b honord; but if u can't swallow, it won't matter.
