Utilize Resources: No easy answer! If you are going to a gym that offers services such as personal trainers and nutritionists utilize them. Also, discuss your goals with your primary care doctor who can help or refer you to the right resources. Your PCP can also help decide what level of exercise is safe for you, if you have any other conditions that could effect your program and should be your first stop.

Exhaust Muscles: To get fit at the gym, focus on two muscle groups each day, like back and chest day, arm and leg day, etc and lift the heaviest you can, even if it's just one time, then rest 15 seconds and lift the next weight down as many times possible, then keep repeating while reducing the weight. This process exhausts the muscle resulting in stronger more fit muscles following repair. Include 20 min cardio.
