Ganglion cyst: This is a ganglion cyst of the wrist. Very common, not serious, but can cause the problems you describe. If it continues to be bothersome, recommend getting the cyst aspirated (fluid removed) with compressive dressing. This has about a 50/50 chance of cure. If the cyst returns, surgical excision could be considered with about a 15% chance of recurrence
