Possibly: Clonazepam is a benzodiazepine. Benzodiazepine dependence develops with long-term use, even at low therapeutic doses. You should discuss the potential risks and benefits of this (and/or any) medication with the prescribing doctor and consider these carefully, so that you can make an informed decision about taking this medication.
