Highly variable: Many people do not have a discontinuation syndrome from SSRI drugs like sertraline, while in others it can be very bothersome (although not usually dangerous). It should be tapered down to 25 mg a day for a week and 25 mg every other day for a week, and that will generally stop it. Clonazepam in low doses may not have major withdrawal since it is long-acting and kind of self-tapers.Talk to doctor.
