I have my resin filling on front 75% tooth since 2.5 years, but yesterday my filling chipped due to hard bitting. should i again go for resin filling.

Talk to your dentist: You may concider have a crown done for this front tooth. A crown will be stronger and more resistant to breaking than a lorge resin filling. Crown can be very long lasting.

Personal evaluation: Have your dentist evaluate the current conditions and discuss the options with you. We can't advise you over the internet. Front tooth\back tooth? Is there some underlying cause for fracture other than what you think? How long do you want it to last? How much are you willing to spend? Is there a better, more permanent solution over the long run? Perhaps a porcelain laminate or crown?

Consider options: If in fact your old resin filling was 75% of your tooth i think it would be prudent to consider an all ceranic crown. A crown in this case would last longer than a large resin filing.

Bonded tooth: 75% is a large filling. If you get it replaced again you would have to be very, very careful with what you bite on this tooth. Anything too hard could break it again. Do you grind your teeth at night? This could make it weaker also. If you have to replace this filling once or twice more you will have paid for a crown which will last a long time as long as you take great care of it!
