Bleeding for 4 weeks: or more is something that should be evaluated. Its cause is most likely hormonal, especially at your young age, but the very remote possibility of a cancer of the uterus or cervix would have to be considered. Pregnancy needs to be excluded. I would think you could contact a gynecologist's office, explain the situation, and be evaluated promptly. This would be the best course. Good wishes:)
