I have been told i have a fibroma tumor in my arm. they say it is cosmetic and therefor doesn't require treatment. it is causing pain and use of arm can be difficult. why won't they listen?

Surgical removal: Fibromas or lipomas are benign, they can be left alone if not bothering you. But if it has started causing discomfort it should be removed.

See surgeon: See a doctor for a full evaluation. You may choose to go directly to a surgeon, who will be more likely to be enthusiastic about removing the tumor.
