i have pain in my left hand on the side my pinky is. its a stabbing pain. and it hurts randomly. no prior injury...just play on my phone a lot?

Overuse: It appears that a muscle/ligament/tendon is irritable or has low grade inflammation from overuse. Try avoiding further strain on that hand and perhaps the discomfort will resolve in a week or so.
