Shoulder pain : New onset shoulder pain without injury can often be treated successfully with rest, over the counter anti- inflammatories (ibuprofen or naproxen), and physical therapy. Recommend visit with primary care provider, shoulder x-rays to rule out arthritis, and a trial of the above treatment.
