Watch the Wound.: I'm not sure if you are describing the wound as having a red dot or the spider as having a red dot. The initial treatment is to clean the wound with soap and water, apply a topical antibiotic and light dressing. An ice or cold pack helps with the swelling and pain. You need to watch to make sure that the wound does not start spreading, causing tissue damage, in which case you need to see a doctor.
