Soften: If it is a corn, then soaking your foot in warm water for 10 min or so should soften it so you can file it off. If not then see a podiatrist. Could be an early infection.

Have it evaluated.: Most probable diagnoses include tight shoes, bursitis, fracture, contusion, neuritis, but of course there are a multitude of other possibilities. Things that may help minimize your pain include: wearing shoes with a wider toe box, mole skin or felt padding, oral nsaids. Have the feet inspected by a professional to determine the exact cause of the problem, as treatment varies depending on the dia.
