Thyroid 13: There are a few l thyroid values. TSH-thyroid stimulating hormone is ~ to 5,. if it is 13 that means thyroid not working you need treatment, not only weight gain but mental functioning, heart ,reflexes muscle function . Total T4 released from thyroid gland usually up to 12 so 13 is hi , but can result in heart irregularities, so need treatment ( free T4 is another) f/u w/doc
