Whiplash/strain: Your question might need some proofreading, but I think I get the idea. Does the chiropractor treatment help, but not last? Might be a chronic instability situation. I would consider prolotherapy or platelet rich plasma injections (PRP) to try to strengthen ligaments/tendons that have likely been weakened by the MVA.

Needs further eval: An ER cannot really diagnose a chronic lowgrade injury and neither can some chiropractors. You need to see a physician who can get studies done and then get you on effective medication, therapy or to a reputable surgeon. Good luck!

Stop seeing chiro: Why would you go to a chiro ' for months' when it is clear that they are NOT helping you. I. Bet they charged you each time for 'treatments' stop going. Save your money. See a real doctor, preferably one who specializes in spine or pain.

Physical therapy: Usually neck and back pain are due to deconditioning (weak) of the muscles. The accident just highlighted this fact. Since the pain has been there for months I would suggest doing a neck and back strengthening routine to help. Google "acute back pain exercises" and start there. It will take several weeks but you will improve. if after a month you see no improvement see your doctor.
