My husband has prescribed amlodipine 5mg+valsartan 80mg.he consumes alcohol around 4 beers.what is the risk and worst case? shoud he skip taking pills

Stop/reduce alcohol: Alcohol can lead to dehydration, and taking blood pressure medications with dehydration can cause to steep a drop in blood pressure. I would recommend stopping alcohol, or at the lease reducing amount, as opposed to stopping/skipping pills.
