A member asked:

I have a polop about 5/6 cm that is bleedinghas in my stomach. i am anemic and experience joint pain,in my hands i have diabetes . do i fit sld??

A doctor has provided 1 answer

SLD? Do you mean...: SLE (systemic lupus erythematosus)? SLE most commonly affects the joints & skin but can affect any organ system. It can contribute to anemia and internal bleeding. However, the conditions you mention can occur in people without SLE. Your doctor can run blood tests specifically for Lupus. In any case, the bleeding polyp, anemia & diabetes need treatment regardless of the cause. Best wishes!
