A member asked:

I noticed that my pinky toe on my left foot turns purple more easily/for longer periods than my other toes for the past few days. i also seem to have an infected toenail in the toe next to it. should i be concerned? i never had diabetes, anemia etc?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

2 different concerns: If you have an infection you should be soaking it in warm water, applying topical antibiotic and covering it with a dressing or Band-Aid. Concerning the discoloration to your toes, I would seek medical attention see your doctor. You are too young for this to happen.
