What causes occipital lymph node swelling? i'm pretty sure that's what i have on the left side it's only one it's been there for about 3 months

Dunno: Most commonly lymph nodes swell in response to a nearby infection. You say this has been going on for three months with no change. Other possibilities might be a lipoma, a lymphoma, some other mass. Have you been seen by a doc and mentioned this? Have any other symptoms?

Ans: The lymph nodes can become inflamed for many reSons. You may have had an infection and thus the lymph nodes become reactive. They do eventually resolve takes a while. Now considering the nodes are enlarged only on one side and you are so young best to see a doctor and get examined
