See below: It really depends upon the bone, that age of the patient, and the severity of the break. For more severe breaks (like the kid from louisville), that can take the better part of a year. Others can be better in 3 to 6 months.

Just had tibial ORIF, I want something less sedating than norco, (hydrocodone and acetaminophen) tramadol did not touch the pain. What would be in between. Can't take NSAID's.
