It can be raised now: If you haven't noticed a significant response on your current dose, then it may benefit to have your dose increased. Discuss your ongoing symptoms and any side effects with your physician. Cognitive behavioral therapy and relaxation training can also help.

Generalized Anxiety: I understand your need for relief from Generalized Anxiety Disorder. Diazepam 16mg/day and Sertraline have not relieved Anxiety. This and your history of depression indicate need for Psychiatric Evaluation to determine Diagnosis. Giving complete history of your symptoms, stresses, use of Alcohol, drugs, medications; and functioning will help. Have Therapy medication, Breathing Relaxation, Yoga.
