Palpitations?: I suspect your sensation is palpitations. You mention an inhaler for asthma and that is a well known cause of palpitations. You mention a Holter exam thus I infer that this problem isn't new and has been looked into before. If the Holter didn't show the problem, request a 30 day event monitor.
