See you dentist now!: Car broken- call , roof leaks- call a roofer, toilet clogged-schedule a plumber, appendix about to burst- go to a doctor, tooth problem (swelling, pain, infection)- go to a dentist! Your problem has no self cure or over the counter remedy...only a dentist can help you! Make an appointment ASAP.

See a dentist: see a dentist ASAP and get your tooth treated. The infection can increase in severity until you have proper treatment

See DDS ASAP: A tooth infection won't go away without treatment and the infection may spread to your jaw, cheeks, sinus, ear and to other areas of your head and neck. Dentist will treat a tooth abscess by treating the cause and getting rid of the infection. See your dentist ASAP.

Absolutely: All you have to do is remove the source of the infection. Either the infected material within the tooth or the tooth itself has to be removed, probably under antibiotic coverage. Swollen cheek means infection is rapidly spreading. There's no pill, poultice, OTC, homeopathic, or incantation that will cure this. Do what you know has to be done. Call a Dentist NOW, before infection spreads more.

ASAP-DDS: See your dentist for immediate treatment for your dental issues. Have the dentist do a complete examination to mitigate these problems in the future.
