Cipro (ciprofloxacin) if no pregnant: As long as you are not pregnant, Cipro (ciprofloxacin) is the drug of choice. However, if you are not sure, ask your doc for Amoxicillin or keflex. Usually are effective without an effect on the embryo. The best solution is to go over the culture report that seems to have be done since you know it is e.Coli. Your doc will be able to help you with this.

Cipro (ciprofloxacin): You are not yet pregnant. Cipro (ciprofloxacin) for 7 days will be fine. Hopefully urine culture was done.
