What can i take over the counter for a chest cold if i am 27 weeks pregnant?

Not much: Most OB's would not recommend many popular over the counter cold and cough remedies during pregnancy. It is best to check with your Doctor in the AM to determine if you need to be examined to diagnose a more serious Lower respiratory infection.

Not much.: In fact, a lot of OTC cold remedies are category C in pregnancy, which means they're generally unsafe. You can take Tylenol (acetaminophen) for a fever, and that may be just about it. Wouldn't take a chance with anything else.
