A member asked:

What if fibrodenoma background shows bare bipolar nuclei and stromal fragments ? should it be treated ?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

It's your call: These have to do with the way in which the fine needle aspiration of the fibroadenoma was performed. A little extra physical strength can strip the nuclei and leave bits of stroma. If you don't mind having the lump there, fine. The risk of its turning malignant is very low. If this or any other bump in your breast starts really growing, get seen. http://www.breastpathology.info/fibroadenoma.html
