I've had tinges of mild discomfort in my throat for years & wen i tuch where my pulse is (neck) it feels tender & bit painful. what cud be the problem?

Needs to be checked : Your throat discomfort has been there for years and you feel pain when you feel your carotid. It is difficult to say what is causing these vague symptoms. It will be a good idea to get it checked by your doctor to see what it may be if any and get it treated. The only thing I can think of throat discomfort for years may be due to allergies,enlarged tonsils&chronic tonsillitis
