A member asked:

Have mild numbness and tingling randomly throughout my body. when i massage the base of my neck and my lower back, they feel sore. spine issue?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Probably muscular: The neck and low back are covered with small muscles. These get stretched and bruised with regular movement. Small nerves travel through these muscles to the arms and legs. Spasms of these muscles can pinch the nerves and cause numbness and tingling. The muscles will feel sore when you massage. A good medical evaluation would be appropriate.
