Gallbladder : You haven't given us any detail, but just because your ejection fraction is normal does not mean that your symptoms can't be from the gallbladder. It is particularly possible if you have actual gallstones or gallbladder sludge. You should return to your doctor if you're still having symptoms, or consider a second opinion, perhaps even on HealthTap, if you have your test results. Good luck.

Maybe: If you have gall bladder issues , you should be on a low fat diet. If you had a HIDA scan with numbers that high, it suggests that there was good function at that time. You may have a problem with sludge or very small stone. The ultrasound should have shown that. If this diet does not improve things, see a GI doc if your primary care doc does not have the answer.

Got to have a HIDA scan. I know the 1st part is 1hr. But my letter states needs to eat/drink after 1st scan & then another scan for gallbladder. I dont have a gallbladder(removed) so will I need the 2nd part of the test or is this still done anyway?
