Descriptions matter: I don't recall ever using the term "hairline" to describe a kids fracture but that's just me. The more common issue for kids is falling on their outstretched arm and getting a beer can like dent in one of the bones of their forearm.If this is what you mean, we commonly just splint these. Needs of other locations and other injuries vary.Try to give more info when you ask ???'s.
