I have a large 4.8 x 3.0x 3. cm calcaneus lipoma. minor pain , but worry about rupture. lipoma growing slowly. bone wall strength unknown. surgery?

Research First.: The main reason for removing these types of lipomas is pain, however there is some consideration as to the ratio of the size of the lipoma to the size of the calcaneous. Lifestyle and activity level must also be considered. It would be wise to have several opinions as to technique, post operative protocols and most importantly, experience in performing this particular procedure.
