Why is my period flow heavy during the day, but at night there's barely anything at all? is it normal for this to happen?

Normal: Yes, this pattern of bleeding is normal. During the day, you are upright and moving around, which helps move the blood from your uterus out of your body. When you are lying down at night, gravity and movement play less of a role so the flow is often diminished.
