I have been taking melodene for a year. last week i started bleeding a little. this week was supposed to be my period but ive barely bled and had no cramps - which is very unusual for me as i have a heavy flow with much pain. is this normal?

Light period ?: If your "heavy flow with much pain" is normal on melodene, and you may have missed a pill or two, get a serum HCG test from your gyn provider to make sure you are not pregnant. Light "periods" on this sort of oral bc is not unusual.
