Yes: Perhaps he would get a little drowsy but otherwise no harm done. In this case , you are lucky since the margin of safety may not extend to other types of drugs.

Yes: Doubling the dose of Zyrtec (cetirizine) once will not harm your child apart from maybe some drowsiness. Just don't keep giving it.
